Would you like to improve your weed identification skills?

Are you interested in learning more about weed management?

Attend a free, one-day workshop and improve your weed identification and management skills.

Topics covered include:

• Understanding weeds
• Key weed characteristics
• Weed growth stages
• Integrated weed management
• Chemical and non-chemical control options.

This interactive workshop will include both presentations and hands on activities.  BYO weed sample(s) from your local area in sealed paper bags that you would like identified.

The workshop will be presented by Martin Brennan, Primary Industries Teacher at Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE (BRIT).  Martin has almost 30 years of practical experience in weed management.  Prior to teaching at BRIT, Martin worked as a commercial agronomist in Victoria and southern New South Wales.
