The Echuca Landcare group are an active group based in Echuca. They hold regular meetings and often include a clean up along a section of the Campaspe River within Echuca. The group are part of the Platypus project which monitors sightings of platypus along the Campaspe River. The group recently (May 2010) launched the "Native birds of the Echuca-Moama district" which was a joint project between the Landcare group and Echuca and District Branch of Bird Observervation and Conservation Australia (BOCA).
